Custom Sky Survey in WWT

Hello,

I’m looking to create a custom sky survey using .FITS images from my observatory. It would start off as a black sphere, and all images (let’s say one image per target sequence taken) would be overlaid where possible.

This would easily allow me, and others hopefully, to see if I have imaged a target in the past if an event occurs in one part of the sky (novae as an example). Historical data is often uncommon when a previously unremarkable object undergoes a drastic change, which is why this would be really valuable.

I would like to import the images into WWT and be able to search for objects - if an object is in a part of the sky I have once captured, I would see this. Is this possible with WWT? If so, how can it be done? The individual images are 50MB - 120MB in size depending on the camera used.

Thanks!
